What to expect.

People often feel apprehensive at the thought of going to see a hypnotherapist for the first time. That's why our goal is to give you as much information as possible and explain everything in advance.

I often speak to people who are very interested in hypnosis and would love to give it a try, but are a little unsure. If this has crossed your mind, go to this link>.

It is absolutely fine to bring a friend with you. There is somewhere for them to wait comfortably while your session takes place.

Your First Visit.

My office is at the Tamar Science Park. It's quiet, modern, accessible and has plenty of free parking. On your first visit you'll be asked to fill out a new patient form. It's not intrusive, it's just to gain a picture of your general health and well being.

Your first visit will usually last around 30 minutes and is completely FREE.

This is an opportunity for you to discuss the reasons for your visit and for me to answer any questions you may have and outline the number of sessions you might need.  Together we can decide if hypnotherapy is the right course of action for you.

Subsequent Visits.

On your second visit, a more in depth case history will be taken and the session will include an element of hypnosis. Every clients needs are different and as such, each session will be tailored to your individual needs.

However, a typical session usually includes identifying your aims and goals, and then working together using hypnosis to change and improve your life. It's that simple!

I usually work in blocks of two appointments, but you should notice changes after the first session. Hypnotherapy is a fast therapy, so one or two sessions are often all that is needed.
